This original oil was inspired by an trip to Jenner, where the Russian River meets the mighty Pacific ocean. I've never seen a clear day in Jenner. It seems mystic, and dreary at times but the energy and the sound of the waves crashing brings me back again and again. There is a minor repair to the back of the canvas which is not noticeable from the front.
