This original oil was inspired by a trip to Yountville, CA just past the famous Oakville Grocery. While driving back to Napa a traffic jam diverted me up and over the Oakville Grade via Trinity road which ends up on HWY 12 between Glen Ellen and Sonoma. The new blooms against the building and between the rocks, (not cows, lol) lead to three paintings of the same scene.
