This original oil was inspired by driving down Scott Street towards the San Francisco Bay early one morning heading over the golden gate bridge. The light blinding those awaking in Sausalito was like gold. The reflection on Richardson Bay and Tiburon with Nick's in the distance and the tip of Belvadere caught my eye. The painting was unplanned therefore quickly sketched out on foam core board. The building are thick applied with a pallet knife and the water smooth and reflective.
