Title:Solstice Kaleidoscope: Fire Maple & Ancient Eucalyptus
Medium: Oil on canvas
Dimensions: 10 × 20 in
Year: 2026
Artist Statement: Standing as a rich, vertical panorama, this impressionist work explores the vibrant dialogue between an ancient eucalyptus and a radiant fire maple in the autumn light. The deep, amethyst-tinted bark and golden-green canopy of the towering eucalyptus clash dramatically against the burning scarlet and orange foliage of its neighboring maple. Below, expressive palette knife strokes weave shifting, tapestry-like solstice shadows across the sun-scorched earth, grounding the canvas in a brilliant kaleidoscope of color and texture.
